There’s something very captivating about London’s markets. They form some of the most divers ecosystems I like to be immersed in. In this image you’ll notice I’m lagging behind my family, which, is not uncommon. I’m constantly reminded by all to “come on daddy!”. I, of course ignore and wander aimlessly as is my nature!, why rush when there’s so much for the senses to absorb and process, the mouth watering smells of street food and the artists at work while trying to lure you in like a fish the land the sale.
I wave goodbye to the moon.
And greet the rising sun, bathing in its golden warmth.
I close my eyes and loose myself in a moment.
Today is a day for falling through the cracks.
In 1977 I left my hometown cinema and looked to a star filled sky in a very different way. That sense of wonder has stayed with me for a lifetime.
I never thought then, that at any point in my future, I would be sharing that wonder and awe with my children. But here we sit, waiting with anticipation, for the next story… Rouge One. We are Jedi!
